Registration and Account Creation

If you want to enroll or apply for a Course through the Website, you need to register an account (“Account”) by providing a valid email address, password and other information to obtain a user name (“User Name”). If you are under age 18, you are not authorized to create an Account. You agree to provide and maintain true, complete and current information for your Account.

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Account and ensuring that you log off from your Account at the end of each session. If you share your computer with other people, close your browser window when you finish your session. Signing off and closing your browser will help protect your information.

Your password is confidential and you agree not to share it with any third-party individual or website. Your password is stored securely and cannot be viewed, determined or sent to you by Glendo. We cannot retrieve a lost password. Please visit the account page to reset your password. You agree to notify Glendo immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or Account or any other breach of security that is known or suspected by you. You will be liable for all actions taken with your Account.

All Orders

We request information from you on our order form.

By submitting an order to us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and you warrant and represent that you have not provided any false or fraudulent information in connection with your order. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders.

If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

Phone Orders

Glendo also accepts phone orders. To order by phone, please call us toll-free at 1-800-835-3519 or 620-343-1084 during our customer service hours Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Central Time. Before calling, please note the course information.

Course Availability

Courses available for enrollment or application through the Website may note availability on the individual Course page.

However, all Courses that appear on the Website as available for online enrollment or application are not guaranteed to be available at the time of order processing. If you have ordered a Course that becomes unavailable or closed, you will be contacted and placed on a waiting list if available.

You will be notified and will receive credit or refund depending on our policy concerning the Course.

Payment Methods

We accept credit and debit card payments through Visa, MasterCard, American Express (AmEx), and Discover.

We do not accept gift certificates for online enrollment or application at this time.

Credit Card Charging

Your Account is charged the same business day as we receive your order before 7 PM Central Time. Orders placed after 7 PM Central Time will be processed next business day. Refunds are issued in the same manner in which you made payment. Your credit card information is encrypted using SSL technology before it is transmitted.

Once your credit card is processed, we do not retain your credit card number nor do we have access to your credit card number in order to increase security of your credit card information. Our payment processor may use a secure token with our website in order to allow your credit card information to be saved securely, but Glendo does not have access to and does not store this credit card information.

Changing an Order

If you need to change or cancel your order, contact Customer Service immediately. Please include the order number to ensure accuracy. If you have already completed an order and want to add an additional Courses to your order, we may need to cancel or refund your initial order, depending on its status, and place a new order. Please note, if your order has already been processed, you may not be able to cancel or modify it. Contact Customer Service for assistance.

Catalog and Website Errors

We have made every effort to ensure that the information in the catalog and on our Website is correct.

You understand and agree that we are not liable or responsible for any inaccuracy in Course details or pricing.

Use of Website Content

Glendo and/or our respective third-party licensors, authors or vendors own all right, title and interest in and to the content and materials provided on or through the Website, including but not limited to all videos, text, photographs, images, illustrations, graphics and other works of authorship displayed on the Website (“Content”), except for third-party resources as discussed below. All Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, publish, redistribute or sell any Content and you acquire no rights in or license to the Content.

Glendo grants you limited permission to view and print Content on any single, stand-alone computer solely for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that (i) you do not alter or remove any copyright or trademark notice appearing on the Content; (ii) the Content is not used on any other Website, networked computer environment or as part of a service bureau; and (iii) the Content is not modified in any way.
This permission terminates automatically without notice if you breach any of the terms or conditions of these Terms & Conditions. Any unauthorized use of any Content contained on this Website may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, laws of privacy and publicity and communications regulations and statutes.

You agree not to modify, copy, distribute, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any Content, any portion of the Website, use of the Website or access to the Website.

You are prohibited from using the Website or any Content to do any of the following:

1. upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any content or information that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
2. impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
3. forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any content or other information transmitted through the Website;
4. upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships; or
5. upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “SPAM,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes.”

You grant Glendo a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers license) for any content, information or materials that you post or upload to the Website such as reviews and feedback (other than personally identifying information such as contact and credit card information) (“User Content”), to such User Content in any media now known or not currently known.

Glendo will not compensate you for User Content. Glendo will treat any and all User Content that you transmit to the Website by electronic mail or otherwise as non-confidential and non-proprietary.

Termination

You agree that Glendo, in its sole discretion, may terminate your Account and use of and access to the Website or any part thereof with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Website under any provision of these Terms & Conditions may be effected without prior notice. Further, you agree that Glendo shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the Website. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Glendo does not warrant that the functions performed by the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that defects in the Website will be corrected. Glendo does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the Website or Content, or that any errors in the Content will be corrected.

Jurisdiction and Venue

Glendo controls and operates the Website from its headquarters in Emporia, Kansas.

Any claim relating to the Website shall be governed by the substantive laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and you agree that jurisdiction and venue in any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to any of the foregoing shall be exclusive in the state court located in Lyon County, Kansas or the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
